METHODOLOGY
The Asset Management Excellence Awards - Middle East are designed to celebrate and benchmark excellence across the asset management industry, with a focus on performance, innovation, and impact. Our methodology ensures that each award is meaningful, merit-based, and relevant to the needs of both the industry and its investors.
Entry Process
Eligibility: Open exclusively to asset managers operating in or serving clients in the Middle East, with at least 1 year of operating in the region (January 2024 latest date to have commenced business in the region). Entrants must demonstrate activity during the eligibility period (e.g. June 2024 – May 2025).
Submission: Firms may enter multiple categories via our official awards portal. Each submission must include:
- A concise summary of the strategy, achievement, or individual being nominated. 1000 words maximum.
- Supporting evidence, including performance metrics, innovation details, client outcomes, or relevant KPIs.
The Awards are open only to asset management firms operating within the Middle East. PR firms and media agencies can also create entries on behalf of their clients.
Submissions should reflect achievements from June 2024 - June 2025

If you wish to enter multiple categories, you can simply clone your main entry or start the entry process again. There are limitations of 5 entries per firm.
Entries can be submitted through our online portal. We encourage companies to provide evidential statements so that your company can be judged based on facts. Please provide as much supporting evidence as possible of (a) what you have implemented and (b) what the outcomes are and make a strong statement of up to 1000 words. If your institution has firewall restrictions and you are unable to submit your entries via our awards portal or have any issues when submitting, please contact our team at ftevents@ft.com.
Institutions are asked to highlight key achievements, changes or improvements in relation to:
Performance: Measurable results and outperformance relative to peers or benchmarks.
Innovation: Creative or pioneering approaches to investment, product design, or operations.
Client Impact: Demonstrated value delivered to investors or partners.
Market Contribution: Broader influence on industry standards, thought leadership, or market development.
There are no fees to submit your entries.

The winners will be contacted in November 2025 by the awards coordinator. There are no financial commitments.
